So I arrived in Utah. :[ I am super sad and miss my host family and my friends and the beach and churros with pure fat injected into them, and my bed being made every day and having food on the table for me when I wake up and whenever I may just want to eat. AH. I miss Chile to say the least and had the best time there. I cant wait to travel again next summer!

Went camping this weekend on Americas birthday! AWESOME. PS camping wasnt like camping. It is really cabins with bathrooms and running water and really cute kitchens and hot water and beds! And a fire place!!! So it was neat! And there was a zip-line. It was awesome!!! The end because I have a presentation and would rather be on facebook. haha

Picture update again... Santiago from last weekend, our second time there. And then today our teacher offered to drive us to a town called Con-Con. It is like a 25 minute bus ride and we decided to walk back and stop at every rocky point along the way... Oh wait. After like 3 hours Beth and I look at each other and are like, "where on EARTH is a bus?!" So we hopped on a bus, left the boys and headed back to Vina to the mall. Don't worry, we had McDonald's and were good again!!!! Oh, to be an American! It is now really nice weather so being outside is awesome. 

This weekend we are going CAMPING in the Andes mountains. (Yes, like the mints). Because I said that and the only person who got it was my sister, Amanda. Which makes sense because she and I share a deep love for anything sweet. Should be interesting though! 

HOME IN A WEEK FROM SUNDAY!!!!! So bittersweet...

2nd to last weekend here! :(

Chile doesnt joke around about its rain.... This is what happens when it rains for an hour!!! Rain usually lasts for a day here and it doesnt let up. The buses hydroplane everywhere. It is amazing to me that there arent more accidents here.

University of Chile game. I will never forget it... oh wait I couldnt if I wanted to because I am going to have a scar on my leg once this huge bump goes away cause I fell down the bleachers when they scored the final goal. People here go NUTS for their soccer. Loved it.

So i am sick and it sucks. I just tried to go to the doctors for the SECOND time. The health care here is good, but it is sooo backed up. I finally have an apointment for 6PM tomorrow. I have been having flu like symptoms for 3 days now. Not fun. This weekend was fun in Santiago... I am trying to gather pictures because my camera accidentally got left behind. I swear I would loose my head here if it wasnt attatched to my body. I always tell people I usually dont feel this unorganized at home. But more later. I need to sleep cause I have been up for 3 hours and I am dying. ha Ciao!!!

I am back and safe and sound. OH BUT DONT WORRY... my professor here has SWINE FLU!!! aka hache uno ene uno... ahhh!!! pretty sure I already had it... haha. awesome! but I am doing fine and will post pictures from this weekend later!

i am off to santiago till monday!!! no school monday so we are going to head over there to have an adventure. dont worry if you dont hear from me again till monday night!

Monday

okay another short one...
i got sick yesterday (sunday, fathers day) and my family wanted to take me to the doctors cause i had bumps on my tounge going into the back of my throat. then i was like oh i cant cause i lost my credit card (haha of course i did) and i cant pay the $100 copay. so now i am getting better. i slept for 24 straight hours, just waking up for food. i am figuring out my card. i am just going to have my mom put money into my friends account and pull out cash. so its all getting taken care of. we had an excursion with our group on saturday and it was fun. it has been raining here and i have never seen so much rain!!! i will put up pictures later.
i am doing well and hope everyone had a great fathers day!!!
